Undefeated: Holiday 2013

Premium sneaker boutique Undefeated is expanding into all branches of branded apparel with their 2013 holiday collection. The LA retailer, run by Eddie Cruz and James Bond and best known for being the focus of an entire episode of cult TV show Entourage, has blazed the trail in streetwear since 2001. Owing to their always on point styling and uncanny ability to both adapt to and predict the changing trends, the widening of their focus to the world outside of shoes has already earned them a dedicated fan base. Bringing this passion and knowledge from the streets to the slopes has resulted in a collection that combines Nordic patterning, sporty graphic prints and perennially stylish plaid pieces. The result is a winter sport-inspired assortment that hits all the traditional notes whilst staying unmistakably fresh. The appearance of a varsity (letterman) jacket alongside sweaters emblazoned with hockey players adds a playful twist to the obligatory knitwear offerings. The brand is also able to show off their sportswear roots with staple hoodies, cardigans and a 100 per cent wool zip-up sweater. As all true pioneers should, Undefeated are already looking ahead. A number of t-shirts and three-quarter-length sleeve baseball jerseys featuring mature graphics and slogans, such as ‘Play Dirty’, are already making the rounds. It’s never too early in LA.
