Urban Outfitters x Vanishing Elephant Clothing

UO x Vanishing Elephant

Urban Outfitters is adding Australian born Vanishing Elephant to its roster of brands as part of a new collaboration. The high street store – which operates as part of the URBN group that also houses Anthropologie and Free People – already stocks established brands such as Fred Perry and Dr. Martens. Success at the chain, and its some 400 locations, is attributed to the “compelling and distinct” range of labels on offer. The newest addition to the brand’s menswear offering is no stranger to big accolades, having been awarded ‘Designer of the Year’ by GQ in 2010. The Sydney-based label was set up two years prior by Arran Russell, Huw Bennett and Felix Chan. Now available throughout North America, Europe and Japan, the trio have produced an exclusive seven-piece collection in partnership with Urban Outfitters. Vanishing Elephant’s capsule collection focuses on a neutral colour palette of navy blue, tan and burnt orange. In keeping with UO’s commitment to unique prints and interesting fabric details, it also features soft washes and custom detailing. The full range comprises a quilted flannel workers shirt, indigo dyed sweat pants, two t-shirts, two classic printed shirts and a pullover. Prices range between $40 (£24) and $95 (£58). The Vanishing Elephant x Urban Outfitters collection is available exclusively in certain UO stores and online at UrbanOutfitters.com.
