13. St. Paul Cathedral:
Located at “the island of attraction” in Calcutta, the St. Paul’s Cathedral the Church has been architected in the Gothic-Revival style and is one of the most beautiful churches in India. The Cathedral is beautified with arched windows and its glass stained. The frescoes inside the church are also fantastic.
Initially, the cathedral was built in the gothic architecture, however, was reconstructed into the Indo- Gothic architectural style after the massive earthquake of 1934 to meet the climate of the place. The church has a library, and the church has stained glass windows, of which one was replaced after it got destroyed in a cyclone in 1964.
On Christmas eve the Cathedral is illuminated and is a sight never to be missed.

14. Basilica of Holy Rosary Church:
This is among the oldest churches in West Bengal which was built in the year 1660, by the Portuguese. The banks of Hooghly locate the church. Widely thought as to be made by Gomez de Soto, has the keystone of the church. The year 1559 has been engraved over the gate of the monastery. The church has been build after a century after Vasco da Gama reached the state.
