Opumo’s latest venture has also received the backing of Diemme, Buttero and YMC. Founder Nicholas Ayoub spoke exclusively to FashionBeans, explaining the pair’s ambition for Opumo is to, “become synonymous with premium designer footwear as we have successfully done with accessories since the store’s inception two years ago.” The 29-year-old went on to say: “Our footwear brand mix is extremely strong for launch and will continue grow over the coming months with a number of exciting collaborations and special releases in the pipeline.” Newly added brands are in good company as the store already hosts the likes of WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie, Sandqvist and Garrett Leight. The new division focuses on exceptional craftsmanship and style, with the shoes on offer ranging from Goodyear welted brogues to Italian-crafted hi-tops.
