Off The Rails Menswear Event London
Topman, Stutterheim and Oliver Sweeney Join Shopping Collective
More than 70 brands have signed up to appear at a new biannual menswear event in London. Off The Rails will welcome the likes of Kent & Curwen, Stutterheim and Oliver Sweeney to the east end’s Truman Brewery when it debuts this autumn. The shopping showcase will include bespoke pop-up shops and personal styling lounge. These will sit alongside a built-in bar, gourmet burger eatery and art gallery. Grooming services will be on offer from the likes of Murdock London, which will be setting up a temporary barbershop. Another confirmed participant, Topman, plans to offer complimentary 20-minute personal styling sessions in the brand’s own suite. Street-food stalls and DJs will add to the atmosphere of the four day event, founded by show director Charlie Gardiner. “Having visited London Collections Men when it started a couple of years ago I always thought there was a space for a dedicated men’s retail event,” he said. FashionBeans contributor and street style photographer Jonathan Daniel Pryce has been tapped to shoot the festivities and has already begun by releasing promotional imagery featuring Oliver Cheshire. Price points at pop-up shops are expected to range between £10 to £1,000, with outerwear and tailoring making up the more expensive half of the range. Tickets to the event, which runs from 30th October till 2nd November, can be bought online now, priced at £10.
