As most Americans know, Keanu Reeves’ career has included work as an actor in a variety of popular movies, but what is less known is his time as a bass guitarist for an alternative Rock band called Dogstar in the 1990s, as well as his pursuits in writing and philanthropy. While Hollywood, as well as the world at large, is lucky to have Keanu Reeves, critics have been more than happy to point out the bad batch of movies he has been in. Here I will rank Keanu Reeves movies from worst to best. Of course we could not rank everything Keanu Reeves has been in, since IMDb shows 107 acting credits for Reeves, but I tried to choose a range of his films here.

25. Johnny Mnemonic

Johnny Mnemonic, which was based on the William Gibson story of the same name, had potential. The premise is that the main character, Johnny, who is played by Reeves, has secret information implanted in his head. However, if Johnny cannot find the passwords to unlock the information implanted in his head, the data is going to kill him.

While the premise itself is exciting, the critics consensus was not positive. This is reflected in the 12% Rotten Tomatoes score, aka the Tomatometer. The audience score was only slightly higher, at a still low 31%. The great cast (according to critics miscast), including Dolph Lundgren, Ice-T, Dina Meyer, and Takeshi Kitano, was not enough to save this 90s cyberpunk thriller.

24. Feeling Minnesota

This 1996 romantic comedy missed the mark. Starring Keanu Reeves and the beautiful Cameron Diaz, Feeling Minnesota ended up feeling a bit derivative.

In Feeling Minnesota, Cameron Diaz plays an ex-stripper named Freddie who is pushed into marrying Sam Clayton by a club proprietor. When Freddie falls in love with Sam’s brother Jiaks, played by Keanu Reeves, they must run away together. Of course nothing is quite that easy, and Sam and the club proprietor go after them and threaten them.
