New York Knicks Top Forbes' Most Valuable NBA Team
The New York Knicks might not be winners on the court, but they are crushing it off it. For the seventh straight year, the Knicks have topped Forbes’ list of the most valuable NBA franchises for the 2021/2022 season. The Knicks are worth a whopping $5.8 million, with their valuation up 16% from last year.
Joining the Knicks in the top five are the Golden State Warriors ($5.6 billion), Los Angeles Lakers ($5.5 billion), Chicago Bulls ($3.65 billion), and Boston Celtics ($3.55 billion). This is the first time in NBA history that three franchises are worth more than $5 billion, which is remarkable considering the impact of COVID-19. Team values across the board are also up 13%.
