Icelandic Supernatural Horror ‘Lamb’ Picked Up by A24

A24 is known for finding some of the most exciting and artistic films including The Lighthouse, Midsommar, Uncut Gems, and Minari, and it looks like they’ve done it again with Valdimar Jóhannsson’s Lamb.

The first-time filmmaker’s directorial feature debut looks to be an intense rural thriller that will keep audiences on the edge of their seat throughout as we follow a child-less couple on their shepherding journey. It seems like it’s going to be super weird, so we’ll see how it turns out. You can watch the international trailer and read the official synopsis to the film below:

Jane Naszewski of New Europe Film Sales has said that Lamb is “original, imaginative, and has cult potential that [A24] can help us achieve.”
