F&F SS14 Collection

Affordable clothing line F&F has released its largest and most varied range of menswear to date. The budget range, housed by British supermarket chain Tesco, has also confirmed the development of standalone stores, to appear in the next twelve months.

The extensive SS14 collection features tropical influences, with shades of pink and blue used to create washed chinos, colour-block shorts and t-shirts.

Rio, the location for the accompanying lookbook, is represented with the use of florals, Aztec prints and highly saturated colours. Jackets, shorts and tees in warm tones of yellow, rust and khaki add contrast to the aesthetic while menswear accessories have also been expanded and now include modern suede brogues.

Highly sought after model Jon Kortajarena fronts the new campaign, which sees light blue cotton suits teamed with patterned shirts and ties. The Spaniard has previously been the choice of Tom Ford and Karl Lagerfeld and has shot consecutively for high street brands H&M and Zara.

Established in 2001, with the full name Florence and Fred, the brand has enjoyed huge growth in recent years. The label is currently available in over 850 stores across the UK and over 2,000 globally.

Bosses have confirmed a move to expand internationally. They aim to open over 50 new stores over the next five years, including locations in the Middle East, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

In addition, the brand has plans to take over the courtyard of Somerset House next month, where the autumn/winter 2014 collection will be showcased. However, no word has been given on whether it will match its current menswear offering.

The SS14 collection is available to buy on F-F.com and in store now. Prices start from just £3.
