Kingsman: The Secret Service x Mr Porter
Mr Porter Collaborate On Film Wardrobe In Online Retail First
Luxury online retail destination Mr Porter has collaborated with the costume designers behind coming of age spy drama Kingsman: The Secret Service, in a first for an online retailer.
Working with six of their brands, Mr Porter has designed and curated the wardrobe for the film in partnership with infamous costume designer Arianne Phillips. She has previously worked on A Single Man, W.E and Knight and Day, as well as with celebrity clients including Justin Timberlake, Courtney Love and Madonna.
Directed by Matthew Vaugh and starring Colin Firth, the movie follows a secret agent who takes a young recruit under his wing and is an adaptation of the graphic novel series The Secret Service.
Key costume pieces from the film will inspire a specially curated capsule collection, which will be available from Mr Porter in January. The exclusive 60-piece wardrobe is predominantly made up of tailoring classics reminiscent of the film’s mood, with brands including Drake’s, Turnbull & Asser and Cutler & Gross featuring.
The team from Mr Porter, Arianne Phillips and FashionBeans will be taking part in a Google Hangout interview surrounding the release of the film on 14 January 2015. Further details coming soon.
