Drake Gifts Rec. Basketball Team $50,000 Championship Rings
Toronto’s Own once again proved he’s the nicest man in hip-hop. Drake recently celebrated his team’s finals win in the SBL Rec. Basketball League Championship by gifting his teammate’s actual championship rings.
These aren’t any old rings though, with the diamond-encrusted accessories worth a cool $50K each. The handcrafted rings – courtesy of jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills – feature a gold base with almost 20 carats of flawless diamonds. Much better than the cheap trophy I won for “Most Improved Player” during my heyday.

The rings look pretty spectacular and are not the first pieces of jewelry made for Drake by Jason of Beverly Hills. He also crafted Drizzy’s $150,000 custom Raptor’s 2019 championship ring, complete with 30 carats of diamonds.
“Drake had a clear vision of what he wanted and we worked really well together to make that happen,” explained Jason Arasheben, CEO Jason of Beverly Hills. “I enjoy the challenge of telling the story of the season and incorporating everything into the design and onto a ring, while still using as many diamonds as possible.”
