Billie Eilish continues to take all before her after she was announced as the youngest ever solo Glastonbury headliner. The 19-year-old hitmaker takes to the festival’s famous Pyramid Stage at next year’s event.

After two years without Glasto due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this is exciting news for music fans. The co-organizer of Glastonbury, Emily Eavis, took to Instagram to reveal Elish would be one of the festival’s headliners. Eavis posted a photo of Eilish wearing a Glastonbury hoodie with the caption:

“We couldn’t be happier to announce that the wondrous Billie Eilish is headlining the Pyramid on the Friday at next year’s Glastonbury Festival, becoming the youngest solo headliner in our history. This feels like the perfect way for us to return and I cannot wait!”

Eilish made her debut at the festival in 2019 where she played the Other stage after she was upgraded from a slot on the iconic John Peel stage.

The news of Eilish’s headline spot is another success for the Californian, whose most recent album, Happier Than Ever, received widespread acclaim from critics and fans.

Additional headliners are expected to be announced in the coming months with Glastonbury taking place at Worthy Farm from Wednesday, June 22 to Sunday, June 26, 2022. Tickets are sold out.
