Ben Sherman Watches: AW14 Collection
British Menswear Brand Creates Three New Lines
Ben Sherman has confirmed a move to bring back its range of watches for AW14. The British menswear label recently previewed three new families of styles, each named after one of its stores in London. Spitalfields, Islington and Portobello are all referenced in the collection, which is made up of varying colours and models. Fans of Scandinavian minimalism can pick up the Portobello watch, which has a clean face, slimline profile and woven wrist strap. Alternatively, the Islington delivers a sports feel, with a selection of bold strap colour ways on offer. Finally, the Spitalfields model targets young professionals, with a smart face and genuine leather croc-effect strap. The collection aims to deliver a “contemporary modernist look while representing the brands place within British style culture,” according to a statement from the brand. Building on its commitment to British-led design, the label collaborated with up and coming designer Matthew Miller on a capsule collection in April of this year. Ben Sherman is now one of the longest running UK menswear labels, celebrating 50 years in business last year. The new watch collection will be available to buy in Ben Sherman stores and online from September 2014. Prices will range from £60 to £105.
