Turnbull & Asser x Globe-Trotter Luggage

British Brands Team Up On Exclusive Suitcases

Luxury luggage is now on the stock list at Turnbull & Asser’s Jermyn Street store.

The Royal Warrant-holding menswear brand has partnered with Globe-Trotter to produce a two-piece suitcase collection, with both British firms incorporating elements of their own style.

Durable vulcanised fibreboard from Globe-Trotter has been used on the black exterior, alongside leather trims.

Meanwhile Turnbull & Asser’s blue gingham, two-fold 120 poplin fabric, most commonly seen on shirts, makes an appearance as lining.

A retractable wooden handle features on the cabin-friendly case, available in both 18? and 21? sizes.

Turnbull & Asser’s head of design, Dean Gomilsek-Cole, said when looking to partner on the project, they sought a brand that shared “passion for quality and craftsmanship, but who looked toward an innovative future”.

Earlier in the year the shirtmaker joined the line-up at London Collections: Men for the first time.

It has since also been revealed that the tailoring label will be available in Harrods as part of its menswear expansion in the coming months.

Founded in 1897, Globe-Trotter produces suitcase in vintage styles which are sold in its Albemarle Street flagship and via stockists including Harrods, The Conran Shop on London’s Fulham Road and Harvey Nichols in Manchester.

Both suitcases are available now, exclusively at the Turnbull & Asser store on Jermyn Street and online at turnbullandasser.co.uk.

The 18? model is priced at £950, with the 21? version slightly higher at £1,150.
