Tattoo: Valon’s right leg is tattooed with an outstanding masterpiece. He got it inked from the tattoo artist, Gianluca. The tattoo includes The Mitrovica Bridge; the planes soaring high in the sky, the rubble, cannon leaves on his right leg, bullets, followed by his own shadowed image standing alongside football.

Meaning: Valon’s idea behind this tattoo was to understand and keep the deep despair and emotions close to his heart which he had to go through during his childhood. Valon has dedicated this tattoo to his upbringing in Kosovo. The tattoo shows his love for his childhood memories of the area he lived in. The child in the tattoo is Valon himself, who depicts the sadness and worry relating to multiple things that he might have had to see in his childhood. Behrami was born in Mitrovica, which is now located in the Kosovo. The city now resides two types of population, one is Serbian and other, the Albanian-speaking population, who are separated by the river Ibar. This transition has been shown to symbolize the connection between the different ethnicities. Valon got this tattoo to showcase his deep roots as he and his family had to move to Switzerland to seek asylum.
