TUMI X DJ Vice Limited Edition Backpack

TUMI, one of the leaders in premium travel accessories, has teamed up with American music extraordinaire DJ Vice to create the ultimate carry-all backpack.

The bag takes inspiration from something the superstar DJ is extremely familiar with – the AIRBUS 380 plane – having jetted around the globe to DJ at the hottest parties and events. With this in mind, the backpack will be a strict limited edition with only 380 being manufactured.

TUMI worked closely with the DJ to create a bag that will take him from airport to club. Large enough to carry around all your essentials but keeping design aesthetic in mind, this ultimate mash-up of functionality and fashion ensures it is a bag that will not only be appreciated by professional DJs, but by style-conscious men across the globe.

Whilst on the decks inside a dark club, Vice found it problematic to dig into his bag to find belongings successfully, so he worked with TUMI to engineer a LED-lined interior. With the click of a button on a small remote, the inside of the bag gleams electric green, for ease of searching for personal items when lighting is scarce.

Vice demanded a transitional and versatile bag that met all his needs, both large and small. A compact option was therefore incorporated into the design, allowing for the rear of the bag to zip-off – creating a slimmer, easy to carry silhouette.

The bag is slightly boxy and oversized in shape and comes available in a charcoal black colour way with an electric green lining and trim. Storage is plentiful with several pockets and compartments incorporated. Though the bag was created with Vice’s personal needs in mind, it is versatile and stylish enough for the everyday man, whether utilised to carry your daily belongings or as hand luggage on a weekend trip away.
