These are some of the top spring summer fashion trends that could be seen at multiple fashion shows this season, and what you’ll want to look for when curating your wardrobe for the upcoming season.

• It’s time to shine. Sequins were a hit on the runway, with sparkly pieces in all shapes and forms. Tons of designers from Laquan Smith to Tom Ford’s S/S 2022 shows were filled with glitzy looks, and we can’t forget the fabulous ensemble Gigi Hadid modeled for Coperni’s Spring 2022 RTW show featuring a floor-length silver sequin maxi skirt.
• Crop tops and low rise pants are back in full force, especially crop tops that look like bras! Or, exposed bras worn under blazers. You could find this combo in Balmain’s Spring 2022 RTW collection, as well as in Missoni’s S/S 2022 collection and Coperni’s Spring 2022 RTW collection.
• Mini skirt suits are the new power pants suit. Chanel’s Spring 2022 RTW collection featured two-piece blazer and mini skirt sets in various prints and fabrics, including their iconic tweed. Max Mara’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection was also filled with chic mini skirt sets, along with Moschino’s Spring 2022 RTW collection.
• Though cut-out detailing isn’t a new trend, it is a trend that is definitely continuing into 2022. From the cut-out catsuits in Saint Laurent’s S/S 2022 show to the cut-out bodysuits, dresses, and more in Stella McCartney’s Spring 2022 RTW presentation, this look still feels fresh.
• Psychedelic and retro-inspired prints were a hit at Fendi’s S/S 2022 show and in Trina Turk’s Spring 2022 RTW collection.
• Feathers stole the Prabal Gurung’s Spring 2022 show and were all over Christian Cowan’s Spring 2022 RTW collection, too.
• Crochet detailing lended a bohemian vibe to Ana Sui’s Spring 2022 RTW collection and Altuzarra’s Spring 2022 RTW looks.
