New 'Justice League' Trailer Teases Jared Leto's Joker
Zack Snyder’s final cut of Justice League is almost here. Set to debut on HBO Max this March 18, the television network has dropped a new trailer for the blockbuster movie. Set to a new score and featuring a lot of action, the trailer also gives us our first glimpse of Jared Leto’s Joker.
The trailer contains mainly new footage not seen in the original 2017 version. Along with a few inspiring speeches from Bruce Wayne/Batman, the trailer predominately focuses on the famous superheroes taking on baddies Steppenwolf, DeSaad, and Darkseid – who wasn’t in the original cut.
Scored by Junkie XL, the trailer also reveals Jared Leto as the Joker, returning to the DC movie universe after starring in Suicide Squad. This time he’s sporting long hair while wearing a SWAT vest. It’s unknown what his role is, but it looks like he may be fighting with the good guys this time around.
There isn’t much in regards to plot details, but with a running time of four hours, Justice League is sure to contain all the subplots and ideas Synder couldn’t keep in the 2017 version.
Synder has reportedly spent $70 million on this movie, improving the special effects and adding new scenes. The film is also said to be more violent and has been issued with an R-rating.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League will debut on HBO Max on March 18.
