Nena & Pasadena Clothing: AW13

Nena & Pasadena AW13

Australian streetwear label Nena & Pasadena has released their AW13 collection of wardrobe staples, which includes a selection of printed t-shirts, vests, hoodies and caps. Though relatively unknown in the UK, the label launched in Australia back in 2010 and now has over 300 stockists across Oz and New Zealand.

In a bid to crack the British market, the brand have sought the help of England team cricketer Kevin Pietersen – the MBE is a shareholder in the label and heavily involved in building the Nena & Pasadena name here in Britain.

The label is best known for their premium line of graphic print t-shirts – each of which incorporates a signature contrast back hem and tab detailing. The AW13 collection features many highlight styles, including the Mayhem design. With a vintage photographic print of an angel statue splashed across the front, the tee offers a strong and almost Gothic visual that would look great paired with a simple pair of jeans.

The Nena Logo Raglan is another stand out choice that has a varsity/Americana 1950s vibe, updated with shorter sleeves and graphic branding across the front. All the t-shirts are priced at £45.

In addition, the collection features printed sweatshirts and hoodies, with the Stand Strong design a particular favourite of the FashionBeans team – the cotton hoodie features a tattooed hand photo with the words ‘Stand Strong’ across the top. The hoodies also come in sweatshirt form and are available in blue and black colour ways. Hoodies are priced at £65 whilst sweatshirts cost £60.

Rounding off the collection are a selection of caps priced at £19.99, these are available in solid block or two-tone colour ways and feature variations of the Nena & Pasadena branding.

You can shop the collection in store at Harrods or online at nenaandpasadena.co.uk.
