Turnbull & Asser x Lock & Co Hats

Central London Businesses Pool Skills For Hats

Neighbouring London brands Turnbull & Asser and Lock & Co have teamed up on a limited edition head wear collaboration.

The brands have used the concept of menswear label Turnbull & Asser’s AW14 collection, the formalist vs the informalist, to create a design that suits varying personalities and occasions.

Hat label Lock & Co’s Atlantic model makes an appearance in navy blue and black colour ways. It is made from 100 per cent felt and finished with a fabricated trim from Turnbull & Asser.

The formalist concept is found in the black option, which features a navy and black woven silk band inspired by the window panes of the Gerkin building in London.

In contrast, the navy blue option carries a textured cashmere, wool and silk band, which aims to stand out against the base colour.

Each piece is made in England and hand-finished in Turnbull & Asser’s workshop.

The central London residents did not have to look far to find each other, with Turnbull & Asser located on Jermyn Street and Lock & Co on St. James Street.

Both Royal Warrant holding businesses said the partnership “acknowledges a shared respect of original design, workmanship and bravura”.

The Turnbull & Asser x Lock & Co hats will be available at Turnbull & Asser’s Jermyn Street store and online from 16th October, priced at £225.
