Cornerstone Shaving Subscription
Delivered-To-Door Products For The Grooming Market
A new subscription-based grooming service has launched in the UK, aimed at combining purchases made for shaving. Cornerstone offers regular deliveries based on individual needs such as frequency and products used, with a flat rate of £30 charged at six, 12 or 24 week intervals. Products available, each developed with dermatologists, include a volcanic sand and cedarwood pre-shave face scrub, ginger and eucalyptus shave gel and mint and honey post-shave balm. The brand’s engravable razor features a lightweight aluminium handle and five blades complete with an aloe vera moisturising strip and flexible head. Subscribers also have the option of reducing costs by removing unwanted items or cancelling the service temporally to avoid build-ups. Founder Oliver Bridge launched Cornerstone through his own dislike of shaving: “it’s uncomfortable, expensive and also very inconvenient,” he said. “We provide a flexible, regular delivery of razors and quality shaving supplies so that you always have everything you need… When you join as a member, we ask how often you shave and which of our products you’d like, and then we re-supply you on a regular basis tailored to your personal routine,” he added. Currently Cornerstone only sells own-label products. However, Bridge said there are plans in the pipeline to expand the business but did not confirm whether this will include the addition of brands. Subscriptions are available to buy online now alongside a one-off gift set.
