The boys are back! Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, and the rest of the crazy gang are returning for Jackass Forever. Why a bunch of middle-aged want to hurt themselves for our enjoyment is beyond me, but after watching the trailer, I’m 100% on board.

Opening with black and white footage taken from the previous Jackass films intercut with the question; “When was the last time you got together with old friends and laughed your asses off?” it then cuts to the gang in the present day, with Knoxville uttering his famous phrase, “Hi. I’m Johnny Knoxville and welcome to Jackass!”

What follows is two minutes of stupidity from the likes of Knoxville, Steve-O, and returning stars Chris Pontius, Jason “Wee Man” Acuña, Preston Lacy, Ehren McGhehey, and Dave England. The crew is up to their usual antics, with footage including exploding couches, Knoxville being gored by a bull, and McGhehey being used as bear bait.

Knoxville has also recruited some new members, with Sean “Poopies” McInerney, Jasper Dolphin, and Zach Holmes appearing alongside their idols. There’s a bunch of random celebrities involved too, with AEW wrestler Darby Allin, comedian Eric Andre, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, and rapper Machine Gun Kelly all getting involved.

One noticeable absentee is Bam Margera, who was removed from the film during shooting due to substance abuse.

While watching guys in their late 40s doing stupid things isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, for those that do enjoy Jackass, this is sure to be another barrel of laughs.
