This is a super unique car that had a very short shelflife despite featuring in the 80s blockbuster Back to the Future. Only around 9,000 of these futuristic-looking vehicles were produced, with about 6,500 still on the roads today. The DMC DeLorean was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and is unmistakable thanks to its gull-wing doors and stainless steel outer body.

There have been many DeLorean’s updated and enhanced by private owners and if you manage to find one for sale, expect to pay upwards of $100,000.

Referred to as the “Last of the V8 Interceptors” in George Miller’s post-apocalyptic classic Mad Max, the Ford Falcon Interceptor is a beast of a car. The Ford Falcon XB GT driven by Mel Gibson’s Max in the flick is all black and equipped with a 5.8-liter Weiand 6-71 supercharger protruding through the bonnet. Later installments in the series see the Pursuit Special with further modifications, but nothing beats the original.

5. Batmobile (Batman)

There are half a dozen different versions of the batmobile. From the classic narrow-shaped Batmobile driven by Michael Keaton in 1989s Batman to the one seen in Christian Bale’s The Dark Knight Trilogy that is a tank-like Tumbler, each batmobile adds a point of difference to the various Batman films. They are all equipped with special weapons and features, such as the Batman & Robin Batmobile that has rocket launchers, a catapult ejection seat, and rear grappling hooks.
