William Wilde Does Boys Underwear

William Wilde

You might not yet know William Wilde by name, but chances are you’re already familiar with his work – particularly as it’s been worn by some of the world’s sexiest women, including Paloma Faith, Kelly Brook and Daisy Lowe (the latter of which just happened to be whilst on the cover of Playboy – ring any bells?). Before you furiously search Google for that particular issue, here’s some background info about the brand: William Wilde, based in London, specialises in hand-made rubber clothing and accessories, debuting his latex clothing collection ‘Madame Boucherie’ in 2010. Up until now Wilde’s distinctively lavish (not to mention provocative) collections have been made exclusively for women, but that’s all changed with the recent launch of William Wilde Does Boys. Consistent with the previous collections’ commitment to quality and unique signature prints, the menswear range is made up of nine underwear styles that have been cut and hand-glued from 100% latex, and all of which feature exclusive William Wilde prints. The collection’s inspiration has been drawn loosely from the world of boxing and sport, using stars and stripes print as well as logo graffiti and waistbands in red, black, pink and white. Wilde’s penchant for a spot of camp and flourish are still present, in the not-so-subtle use of ruby encrusted boxing gear and glistening red glitter blood spatters. The collection is available to purchase exclusively from williamwilde.com.
