Canadian design lab Thalmic have managed to come up with a product that seems set to revolutionise how we interact with our ever-growing plethora of gadgets – and it looks phenomenal. By minutely sensing muscle movements the MYO band sends signals to your device of choice, substituting movement for any number of taps and clicks. This is not just play and pause stuff. Mouse movements, screen swipes – total control can be rendered though this thing. It also has a great aesthetic, with simple block-colouring and a segmented design that is as modern and clean as any Apple product. With the growing interest in wearable technology, MYO gives you control and style without the intrusiveness of Google Glasses or losing a beloved accessory to the iWatch. Fashion and style extends beyond clothing, and the elegance of interaction MYO could provide normalises technology into our everyday lives even further.
