Summer is all about embracing color. This summer, I have noticed that bold, bright shades are more popular than ever.

Like many of us, I get a lot of my fashion inspiration from Instagram influencers, and these hues in particular have been in heavy rotation on their feeds.

Color Trend #1: Tangerine

Orange is one of my new favorite colors and I’ve been incorporating it a lot in my summer wardrobe.

Our standout piece here is this sparkly, ruched, one-shoulder crop top. I paired it with some baggy boyfriend jeans that are high-waisted and distressed.

For shoes, I love the look of matching them with this tangerine, mini shoulder bag. Being matchy-matchy has been very trendy lately. These tangerine and teal sneakers are perfect for making this look more casual, too. You could easily swap them out for a sandal with a baby heel to dress it up if you prefer.

To finish it off, add some simple, layered gold necklaces.

Color Trend #2: Canary Yellow

Yellow is simply *the cutest* color trend for summer and the pastel hues look incredible on every skin tone.

I styled this matching cardigan and tank sweater set. It’s fuzzy and embroidered with little flowers. It’s the kind of set that is reminiscent of elementary school, but also, totally chic.

I added some flare cropped jeans in a light wash and yellow square-toe sandals. I finished off the outfit with this white shoulder bag to balance out all the yellow.
