Official 'Spiderman: No Way Home' Trailer Drops After Leak

The official Spiderman: No Way Home trailer has finally dropped with millions of people checking out the new teaser within hours of its release.

Sony Pictures made the official teaser trailer – which runs nearly three minutes – available after a low-res version was leaked to massive public interest earlier this week.

According to the film’s official synopsis:

For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.

Tom Holland is back in the role of the now unmasked Peter Parker, Zendaya returns as MJ, and Benedict Cumberbatch plays the time and space bending Doctor Strange. We also get a glimpse of a returning Alfred Molina as Doc Octopus/Otto Octavius, who isn’t the only previous character coming back to the franchise.

Due to Doctor Strange and Spidey messing with the multi-verse, a number of other key characters from previous Spider-Man movies are set to appear, including Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin and Jamie Foxx as Electro.

The movie is directed by Jon Watts, who was the helm for 2017’s Spiderman: Homecoming from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.

Spiderman: No Way Home is set to be released in theaters on December 17.
