Seiko Release a Special Edition Prospex Turtle Dark Manta Ray
Seiko has released a “Dark Manta Ray” edition of their highly revered Prospex Turtle “Save the Ocean” dive watch.
Originally released last year, this lustrous watch features the standard 45 mm x 13.2 mm stainless steel “Turtle” case. The timepiece also comes with a unidirectional steel bezel made from black ceramic instead of aluminum, making it more resistant to scratches.
What really sets this apart from other Turtle models is the dial. A darker shade of blue is featured with silhouettes of manta rays swimming through the ocean. The caliber 4R36 movement comes with the addition of a day function and powers the hours, minutes, and center seconds hands.
The Dark Manta Ray has a 41 hour power reserve and is water-resistant down to 200 meters. The spectacular looking timepiece from the Japanese watchmakers also has a blue silicone strap and comes with a special “Save The Ocean” box.
The Seiko Prospex “Save the Ocean” Dark Manta Ray SRPF77K1 is available now for $595. You can find out more about the watch by visiting Seiko.
