Model-run accessories brand Passavant and Lee has launched its No.25 luggage collection. The former Ralph Lauren and Armani frontmen used multi-channel retail space, The Clerkenwell Collection, to show off the patented designs, which have spent three years in development. The handmade No.25 briefcase is made from aircraft-grade aluminium, covered in a full-grain Horween leather finish, while the interior features high-density foam and fine suede. Talking at the launch, one of the company’s founders, Jon Passavant, was keen to point out the “journey of researching the best materials, working alongside expert craftsmen and designing a product that is both resilient and stylish.” Housed within the 17in x 12in body is a large slip compartment, a further two large document holders, multiple pen pockets, three card holders and a zip pocket. Outlining the functionality, Benj Lee said: “Each briefcase, measuring at 4in in depth, can fit a 15in laptop inside as well as other documentation, pens and cards.” Available online at passavantandlee.com or at The Clerkenwell Collection Store in matte black or cedar, with a black or stone interior, the briefcases cost £2,050. Other products on display at the launch included a slimmer attaché case, priced at £1,750, and a portfolio wallet, retailing for £950.
