LeBron James Shows Off His New Eco Friendly Hummer

When it comes to car collections LeBron James’ is nearly unbeatable. The Lakers superstar is a massive car lover with a garage to prove it. His fleet of luxury cars includes three Ferraris, two Mercedes Maybachs, a 1975 Chevrolet Impala convertible, a Bentley Continental GT, and a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster. His latest addition might just trump them all.

Taking to Instagram to show off his new whip, LeBron took fans on a tour of his limited edition 2021 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1. It seems as though LeBron is very happy with his purchase, with the four-time NBA champ declaring, “That’s a bad girl right there.”

The monstrous 4×4 has been called “the world’s first zero-emissions, zero limits all-electric supertruck.” Worth a cool $112, 595, the pearl white Hummer has a three-motor powertrain under the hood capable of producing 1,000 hp and 11,500 ft lbs of torque. The impressive truck can also go from zero to 60 mph in just three seconds. The L-Train also got excited about the Hummer’s CrabWalk technology, allowing the tough 4×4 to drive diagonally at low speeds.

Other features include four-wheel steering, an infinity roof, driver assistance technology, luxury interior, and a Bose 14-speaker audio system. As this is a car fit for a king, LeBron’s Hummer comes with the Extreme Off-Road pack. This exclusive upgrade includes 18-inch rims with 35-inch Wrangler All Territory tires, waterproof underbody cameras, and improved suspension.

If you’re wondering how LeBron managed to get his hands on one of these beauties (they sold out in one night), it might have something to do with the NBA star’s connection to GMC. LeBron is an ambassador for the company, so he no doubt gets first dibs on any new vehicles.

Although the Edition 1 models are sold out, you can still get your hands on the three other versions of the Hummer EV. The 3X ($99,995), 2X ($89,995), and 2 ($79,995) models can all be reserved through GMC and are expected to be available later this year.
