England’s Marks & Spencer Euro 2016 Suit Revealed
Excited for the Euros? Of course you are. If you’re not already bankrupting yourself on tickets being touted at 31 times their face value, you’re missing work deadlines pondering who Roy Hodgson’s taking with him to France. And Marks & Spencer, England’s official suit supplier, might be able to offer you a few clues as to who’s made the cut, with Jonjo Shelvey, Ryan Bertrand and Kieran Gibbs all making surprise appearances in the just-dropped campaign shots to promote England’s official Euro 2016 suit. Pictured alongside regulars Joe Hart and Harry Kane, Shelvey, Bertrand and Gibbs proudly sport the new design cut from 100 per cent British cloth sourced from Yorkshire’s Alfred Brown mill. Each suit has been tailor made and is complemented by a light blue shirt with football pitches on the inner collar and inner cuff, as well as a navy, red and white striped tie that features the team crest embroidered on the tipping. If you’re still worried Euro rivals won’t know where your loyalty lies, the suit jacket includes red, white and blue trims on its internal pockets, trims and undercollar, along with the World Cup winners gold star embroidered onto the internal pocket envelope. “We are delighted to continue our partnership with M&S into a ninth successive year and ahead of another major tournament,” said Stuart Turner, The FA’s Commercial Director. “The FA’s relationship with M&S continues to go from strength-to-strength and we are really pleased with the England team’s official suit for Euro 2016. Once again, the in-house design team at M&S has shown excellent attention to detail and the England squad will be heading to France in a suit of the highest quality.” The best part? You can already start kitting yourself now ahead of kick-off in June. The suit, priced £199, is available now in 110 UK stores and online.
