5. The Altered Cliche

As this header suggests, using a cliche can be a different way to highlight your dating profile. But instead of going with the standard version everybody has heard, alter it to show a bit of your personality. Take for example the classic “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” It does the job as is, but sounds even better when you tweak it. “When life gives you lemons, add them to your gin.” Or how about “When life gives you lemons, squirt them in your enemies eye.” A bit of comedy mixes things up and shows you have aren’t too serious.

These headlines might not be witty or funny, but they do tell any potential matches what you expect from them.
