The commercial Aussie beer that craft brews want to be like, Cooper’s Pale Ale inspired a new generation of less parochial beer drinkers.

Coopers Pale Ale is fermented in the “Burton-upon-Trent” style, where a secondary fermentation creates a cloudy appearance.

Naturally bitter but balanced by fruit and floral notes alongside a lip-smacking crisp taste, Coopers Pale Ale has moved from a South Australia-centric beer to a national phenomenon over the past 20 years. There are not many taprooms in the country that don’t feature this legitimately great beer.
