Supreme x COMME des GARCONS SHIRT Capsule Collection After their critically and commercially successful collaboration in 2012, celebrating the opening of the Dover Street Market Ginza store, Supreme and COMME des GARCONS SHIRT are releasing a second capsule clothing collection for SS13 – marking the one year anniversary of the store opening. Once again the face of the collection is Jason Dill, skater extraordinaire, but this time he is joined by actress, model and all-round fashionista Chloë Sevigny. The collection channels an eclectic style by combining various street influences. Like the previous 2012 range, most of the pieces rely on the polka dot motif, but this time they are playfully layered over colourful camouflage patterns, one of the hottest trends of the season. Interesting detailing such as red polka dots and the mirrored Supreme box logo are boldly stamped on pieces such as bucket hats, button-down shirts and t-shirts to name but a few. One of the standout pieces in the collection is the classic white t-shirt with a Supreme logo on the front and an 8-bit camouflage polka dot panel on the back. Another one is a non traditional coach jacket, plastered all over with the same show-stopping pattern. In terms of footwear and accessories, Vans make a welcome appearance in the collection, with two of their iconic silhouettes – the Half Cab and Era – undergoing the pattern transformation. There are also two versions of the traditional Supreme Camp cap available, fashioned in different camouflage colourways. This new Supreme X COMME des GARCONS SHIRT capsule collection is highly anticipated by fans all over the world, and predicted to sell out almost instantaneously. Stay tuned for more details on its release in the coming months. Supreme x COMME des GARCONS SHIRT Capsule Collection Lookbook
