Brand Celebrates 20th Anniversary Of The Predator

adidas has released 14 new versions of its famous Predator football boot. The style, worn by the likes of David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane, has been reimagined as part of the Instinct range, in celebration of its 20th anniversary. Fans of the sport will recognise the original red, white and black colour way, alongside updated models in combinations of blue, yellow, black, white, green, grey and gold. Additions include the Revenge Instinct pack, which contains three looks based on the heritage designs of the 1994 Predator, 1998 Accelerator and 2002 Mania boot. Technical updates in the line come from a control frame, used to increase grip and touch, which sits on top of a gel pad and hybridtouch material body and TPU outsole. A Solar Blue edition of the Predator Instinct has also been created, available only from Intersport retailers. Stars including Xavi Hernandez, Andrea Poli and Julien Draxler have already signed up to wear the exclusive colour way on the pitch. Other players under adidas sponsorship deals such as Lionel Messi, Robin Van Persie and Mesut Özil are expected to wear boots from the range during the upcoming season. The German firm, which has been celebrating the win of the county’s national team in the 2014 Fifa World Cup, has also created a video showcasing the evolution of the Predator over two decades. All 14 boots are available to buy from adidas stores and select stockists now. Prices range from £42 to £175.
