Runway Looks for Less: Chloé Ready-to-Wear Fall 2017
Upon much deliberation, I’ve decided that the Chloé show is my Paris Fashion Week fave this season. Full of classic, ladylike styles, it’s perfect for anyone who likes to stick to the tried and tested; or for those of us who need to look professional 9-5. There’s also a few more fashion-forward looks thrown in for good measure, with silk slip dresses and cutouts galore.
Most importantly, this collection is easy to replicate on a budget. Professional style even though I’m not on an executive paycheck? Right up my alley.
Look 1
You might think grey work trousers are boring, but give them an update with a sheer detailed top. Some offices might not be okay with mesh, but depending on what kind of vibe your place of workplace has, you may be able to get away with this subtle floral mesh blouse, especially if you add a white camisole underneath.
Products: Top – Target, Trousers – Marks and Spencer, Shoes – Saks Off 5th (similar), Belt – Forever 21
Look 2
Again, some offices might not be ok with faux leather, so you could always swap this pinafore for a suede one. Add a yellow floral shirt, a structured bag and some strappy flats and you’ve got a cute yet practical new go-to outfit.
Products: Shirt – ShopRuche, Pinafore – Boohoo, Bag – 2020Ave, Shoes – GoJane
Look 3
Okay, so this one is definitely not work-appropriate! However, it’s an incredibly stylish night out option, and is super versatile. The slip dress can be worn over t-shirts for a more casual vibe, and although pricey, the faux fur coat will go with pretty much every piece of clothing you own.
Products: Dress- Boohoo, Coat – Plumo, Necklace – Accessorize, Shoes – Glamorous
