Penhaligon’s Bayolea Eau De Toilette


Penhaligon’s Official Scent Of LC:M

Double Royal Warrant holder Penhaligon’s has created the official scent of London Collections: Men (LC:M) for a second time. The English firm will perfume show spaces across the three day event, which kicks off this week, with its new Bayolea fragrance as part of the deal. Following the men’s fashion week, the brand will make the scent available as eau de toilette, alongside a grooming range including an aftershave splash, hair pomade and facial scrub. Bayolea features an opening of mandarin, tangerine and lemongrass, before moving through cardamom, black pepper, neroli and lavender, on top of a base of cedar, sandalwood, musk, moss, patchouli and amber. Penhaligon’s Head of Global Marketing, Matthew Huband, spoke of strengthening the brand’s men’s offering through the event. “As LC:M gets bigger and more prestigious, Penhaligon’s is too… The eyes of the world look to London in June, their noses will be delighted by Bayolea, I can’t wait,” he added. Founded in 1870, it is the first time the fragrance house has created a new product for the partnership. In January 2014 it used its 111-year-old Blenheim Bouquet. Though the new scent won’t be on sale until after the close of LC:M, Bayolea will be found throughout shows and presentations via scented candles. The fragrance will be available to buy online at Penhaligons.com and in Penhaligon’s boutiques from July. Price points are yet to be revealed, however other 100ml eau de toilettes from the brand range between £85 – £110.
