Early this morning the latest Suicide Squad trailer “leaked” online. Quietly appearing on YouTube with the title, The Suicide Squad – Early Access Trailer Do Not Share, the trailer features a bunch of new footage from James Gunn’s highly anticipated flick.

Supposedly leaked by members of the cast, this new trailer sheds more light on Idra Elba’s Bloodsport, who we discover put “Superman in the ICU with a kryptonite bullet.” Stuck in prison, Bloodsport is blackmailed into joining the Suicide Squad after Viola Davis’ Amanda Waller uses his daughter as bait.

The trailer also highlights many of the main characters, including Weasel, a humanoid weasel who’s killed 27 children, and John Cena’s Peacemaker, who looks set to provide the laughs as the straight-laced killer who believes peace must come at any cost. Check out the trailer below.

The Suicide Squad, based on the hit DC comic, is neither a sequel nor a reboot of David Ayer’s 2016 movie, but some sort of hybrid continuation of the original. This time around the group of anti-heroes is tasked with destroying “every trace of something known only as Project Starfish.” The starfish in question appears to be Starro, a giant telepathic alien starfish intent on demolishing everything in its path.

The cast for this one is chockers, with Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), and Davis (Amanda Waller) reprising their roles from Suicide Squad. They’re joined by Elba (Bloodsport), Cena (Peacemaker), Sylvester Stallone (King Shark), Peter Capaldi (Thinker), David Dastmalchian (Polka-Dot Man), Daniela Melchior (Ratcatcher 2), Micahel Rooker (Savant), Alica Braga (Sol Soria), Pete Davidson (Blackguard), Nathan Fillion (T.D.K.), Sean Gunn (Weasel), Flula Borg (Javelin), and Mayling Ng (Mongal).
