Collection marks fourth collaboration

A fourth round collaboration from London department store Liberty and trainer brand Vans has launched, featuring five updated footwear styles. Van’s Era, Old Skool, Sk8-Hi Reissue, Authentic and Classic Slip-On models have been reworked with new materials and patterns taken from the Regent Street landmark’s art fabric vault. The Era and Sk8-Hi Reissue shoes is now rendered in brown and blue paisley prints alongside original details such as a heel stamp, white rubber sole and Vans branding. Liberty’s Belmont Ivy pattern has been used as side panels on the Old Skool style, while the Authentic carries a hand drawn sky scene of constellations. Finally, the Classic Slip-On comes complete with a detailed tree print. The collection mirrors the selection of footwear models featured in last season’s offering. Vans is not the only trainer brand to have received a Liberty London makeover, the department store’s prints have also featured across Nike styles in the past. The Liberty Art Fabrics x Vans Holiday collection will be available at Vans stores, online and at Liberty of London from the start of October. Prices start from £50 for the Authentic and Classic Slip-On, £52 for the Era, £55 for the Old Skool to £57 for the Sk8-Hi Reissue.
