Only 40 bespoke hypercars, known as the Divo, have been produced by French automaker Bugatti; the final of the line has recently been finished- signed, sealed, and delivered. 

Just three years ago the project was announced at the Concours d’Elegance in Pebble Beach, California. Now it’s at last coming to a close. The car manufacturer’s ultimate show in a 40-vehicle run, the latest Divo is due to what’s being described as a “loyal owner” in Europe. 

The car is sure to turn heads as one that’s built like a racer. In fact, the name Divo comes from Albert Divo, a French racecar driver who earned major wins from 1923-1929 throughout Europe. 

Under the work, The Divo isn’t too dissimilar from a Chiron despite an ultra-sleek aerodynamic shape upgrade modeled after the Vision Gran Turismo and the Type 57SC Atlantic.

In 2018, when the project was debuted, the goal was to offer the model to only the most committed of Bugatti customers. The plan came to fruition as each client worked side by side with the marque to customize the model that would be delivered. The concept was such a smash that the entire line had sold out before the first car was even released.

The Divo is crafted to take onlookers by surprise as they admire the shape, form, and power the car represents. Sporty yet graceful, it’s a fit for cruising in style.

Not too far off from the last Bugatti car spotted at Le Mans, the current ride’s paint job was done in EB 100 LM blue, a little darker than royal blue (French Racing Blue). The color choice runs throughout the interior as well, marked by charcoal accents. The car’s look pops inside and out. The matte gold rims are sure to catch a few eyes, too.

The Divo charges ahead thanks to an 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 and an associated seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Chiron-inspired vehicle offers a whopping 1,500 HP and 1,180 ft-lbs of torque. The auto tops out at speeds of 236 miles per hour. A smooth ride is ensured by well-tuned suspension and chassis settings.
