KITH x The Notorious B.I.G. Collection Wave 2

“Hah, sicka than your average,” KITH is releasing another collection of Biggie-related apparel in their second wave tribute to the late, the great, The Notorious B.I.G., the undeniable king of New York rap.

Pairing nicely with “Timbs for my hooligans in Brooklyn,” this second wave collection arrives 24 years after his untimely death. Gunned down in Las Vegas in September 1996 during a tour in Los Angeles, California, the KITH Collection pays homage to the Hypnotize Classic Logo Hoodie and the Ready to Die Classic Logo Tee.

Also teaming up with Warner Music to bring back “rappin’ bout blunts and broads,” it follows the March release of the Notorious B.I.G. documentary on Netflix titled, Biggie: I Got a Story To Tell. On the bill is the re-released original version vinyl of Ready to Die and Life After Death on double-cassette, each rocking redesigned co-branded covers.

The KITH collection, titled “It was all a dream,” takes the opening line to one of Biggie’s most beloved tracks to produce the perfect collection of Juicy apparel. No longer rocking a hat to match the red and black lumberjack, you can display outstanding portraits of The Notorious B.I.G. across a range of apparel items, including t-shirts, hoodies, and crewnecks. There’s even a Hypnotize Classic Logo Hoodie, which showcases one of the final photos ever taken of B.I.G.

The owner-operator of KITH, Ronnie Fieg, posted to Instagram to share his insight into “B.I.G.’s legacy outside of music.” Partnering with the Christopher Wallace Estate, Fieg connected with six schools to develop a list of supplies that would help their schools address the realities kids face in today’s school systems, much like how a young Christopher struggled with the requirements of the school.

With proceeds from the second KITH x The Notorious B.I.G. Collection going towards the purchase of all of the supplies each principal wrote down for us, Fieg believes “it’s one step of many that we can take towards fostering a better and stronger unified community.”
