Tattoo Profile: Doug is a vegan tattoo artist living in Philadelphia. He cut his teeth in NY, apprenticing to pierce in 2000, after years of making music. Once learning the arts of scarification and trans/subdermal implants as well, his shop co-workers began to influence him through painting and tattoo flash. From there, Doug developed an itch to learn to tattoo instead of watching others have all the fun, so he learned the craft while doing the other shop duties. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife, 2 dogs and grumpy old cat.
