'No Time to Die' Showstopper: 937 HP Aston Martin Valhalla
In the latest 007 movie, the long-delayed No Time to Die, the superstar that will steal the show is the 937-HP Aston Martin Valhalla.
The Bond production, No Time to Die, will be the 25th in the series by Eon Productions. Daniel Craig again appears as James Bond, the fictional British MI6 agent, with this the supposed farewell tour for Craig, at least with him in Bond’s shoes.
This has been in the works since 2019 when word first got out about the ordeal. Since then, the Aston Martin Valhalla has been a part of the equation for the film’s super spy allure.
When the movie debuts this fall, so will what’s being called the “hellacious hypercar.” Even more exciting, the Aston F1 race, the first in over six decades, will soon hit the Silverstone circuit at home.

The powerhouse hybrid vehicle will stand out on the silver screen. It boasts 937 horsepower thanks to a rip-roaring V8 (4.0-liter, twin-turbo) with additional electrical motors on each axle for a bonus boost. The powertrain contains the handy electric-only reverse gear to cut back on weight. It has an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission that tops out at a speed around 217 mph, going from zero to sixty in just under 2.5 seconds.
Racing was what the engineers had in mind while designing the Aston Martin. The look of the Vallhalla is built around the traditional F1 form, meaning it’s as aerodynamic as they come. The car even set out to beat the Porsche 911 GT2 RS in a recent lap record, attesting to the overall competitive edge of the vehicle.
Other embellishments make the ride sparkle on the road and on the big screen, such as an active rear wing and large, flashy headlights. Other technical specs for the Valhalla include:
- Multilink rear end
- Adaptive damper units
- Carbon-ceramic brakes
- Shape-holding carbon finder tub
- Exact control of suspension loadings
- Variable spring rate
