ASAP Yams’ 14 Tattoos & Their Meanings
Jesus Steven Manuel Rodriguez Paulino, better known by his stage name, ASAP Yams, was an American rapper, associated with the ASAP Mob. The ASAP in his name stood for, “Always Strive And Prosper”. He died on 18 January 2015 at the age of 26, which was ruled as an overdose of mixed drug intoxication, but his crew members said that it was because of symptoms of Sleep Apnea. Tattoo: Steven’s left cheek contained a tattoo of a cross on it. His forehead, just above his left eyebrow, contained the word, “Cutthroat” tattooed on it.
Meaning: The cross on his cheek represented his religious views.

Tattoo: The right side of his forehead contained the number “109” tattooed on it vertically. The letter, “A” was also tattooed on the side of his right eye.

Tattoo: The right side of the rapper’s neck contained a tattoo of the letters, “NY” on it forming the logo of New York.
Meaning: ASAP got this tattoo as a tribute to his city. Steven was born and grew up in Harlem, New York.

5. ‘Pyramid’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The rapper’s right pec contained a tattoo of a pyramid on it with the topmost triangular block, elevated above the rest of the pyramid. There is also an eye tattooed inside the floating triangle with rays of light emitting from it.
Meaning: The tattoo design is common in the Christian religion and is one of the tattoos that represent the same. The eye inside the triangle is known as the Eye of Providence, which is said to be the eye of God watching over humanity.
