Mike Hatfield was born long ago, in a galaxy far, far beyond(Pontiac, Michigan). Served in the U.S. Air Force, got assigned to Hawaii in 1980. Following the military, contributed 10 years airbrushing T-shirts in Waikiki. Graduated in painting surfboards and automotive, and still live to coat for fun. When not work, his main pursuits are surfing, and more surfing. Wasn’t born in Hawaii, but was born FOR Hawaii.

He likes to be able to arrange any tattoo that walks through the door but considers his specialties to be portraiture/realism, Japanese style, and also Polynesian. He regards himself as lucky to be tattooing and to be able to do a painting for a living. Spreading aloha daily!

Kevin Mokuahi is a town boy, born and reared in Waikiki. He spent his teens and early adult life separating between Oahu and Southern California, where he was acquainted with the tattoo industry. He began his career apprenticing under Tom Green in Costa Mesa, California, before ultimately moving home to Hawaii to proceed with his career as a tattoo artist over 25 years ago.

Kevin has operated alongside some of the industry’s most identified tattooers, as well as himself being highlighted in various tattoo magazines over throughout the years. He has been granted to tattoo many famous recording artists/actors such as, *Nsync, The Booya Tribe, Britney Spears, surfing legends Sunny Garcia, Matt Archibald, “Buttons”, and Marcus Latrell, the Navy Seal that motivated the movie Lone Survivor.

Kevin has been professionally tattooing for over 27 years, held multiple tattoo studios, and is currently working and operating out of Sacred Art Tattoo Waikiki. He is a devoted husband, father, and faithful man of God as a Pastoral Intern at New Hope Manoa.
