They also don’t choose form over function. The unique look of these shoes serves a purpose, which is to conform to your foot. The shoes are lightweight and flexible. They conform to my foot in a comfortable way and don’t feel too tight. I’ve worn them on several runs and I love them. They feel supportive of my feet, without having tons of arch support. I like that. It feels more natural than having a bulky insole, and I can tell that the muscles in my feet are working more than when I’ve worn shoes with more intense arch support. The Dashers look great and feel great. For normal running conditions, they’re awesome. One missing feature is water-resistance. Sometimes I run in the rain and may step into a puddle. I’d like for these shoes to keep my feet dry, but they don’t. Allbirds does offer a water repellent variation of the Dasher, but (at the time of writing) they only come in one colorway. To be honest, I don’t really understand why the company wouldn’t add some degree of water-resistance to the regular Dasher model. Speaking of water, the Tree Dashers are machine washable which is a nice feature! Right out of the gate, the Natural Run Shorts felt awesome. They’re lightweight, and they have a little bit of stretch to them. The material reminds me of high-quality swim trunks. They’re linerless, which I prefer. The 7? length suits my legs perfectly, but I know a lot of guys would prefer to have the option of 5? or 9? lengths (also…that’s what she said).Natural Run Short
