Adam Whitney Savage is an American actor, educator, special effects artist, TV personality, and producer. He is also famous as the host to TV shows like MythBusters and Unchained Reaction on Discovery Channel and Savage Builds on Science Channel. Models built by Savage have been used in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, Space Cowboys, and The Matrix Reloaded.

1. Ruler Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a ruler tattooed on the inside of his left forearm. The ruler on his forearm measures inches, centimeters, and millimeters.
Meaning: He posted the tattoo on his Instagram with the caption explaining it, “I just had a six-inch ruler tattooed on my left forearm! A real tool permanently installed on my human suit! I have been talking about this tattoo forever. I came up with the idea maybe 12 years ago or so and yet never implemented it. But this year it finally felt like it was time to add the utility of measurement to my body. I’m so happy with how it looks! Can’t wait to put it to use.
