Vans Teams Up With House of Horror for a Scary Movie-Themed Shoe Collaboration
Vans is pairing up with House of Horror to unveil a spooky collection set to arrive just in time for Halloween.
Every fall we fire up the VCRs, DVD, and Bluray players, and internet streaming devices to watch our favorite horror films. Some of us make them our whole personality, and all we’ve been waiting for is shoes to match. Now, that day has come.
On Reddit, u/djKrazyK first posted that a launch was coming on October three weeks ago. The community announcement simply stated “PSA: Vans X House of Terror Launching 10.1.” There was a skull and pumpkin emoji thrown in for added effect.
The leak mentioned that the collaboration would include footwear, apparel, and accessories with themes and images relating to cult classics like Friday the 13th and The Exorcist. Other films to watch out for, said the post, are The Shining, Nightmare on Elm Street, IT, and Lost Boys.

A recent Vans-verified Instagram post authenticated the Reddit claim, reading “The Vans x Horror collection is almost here! Get ready to relive the scariest moments from your favorite classic horror films across iconic footwear and apparel pieces.”
Expectation has it that these products will fly off the shelves once they’re available on October first.
This horror-focused collection of shoes and clothing calls attention to all things that go bump in the night with call-outs to everyone’s favorite horror movie classics. There are plenty of skate-style shoes in the mix as well as sandals, perfect for fall weather.
Imagine a shoe that pays homage to Freddy Kreuger’s unforgettable role in A Nightmare on Elm Street. Vans Sk8-Hi shoes bring terror to the heart with a striped pattern that just screams Freddy. Another set of slip-ons have the infamous mask Jason uses in Friday the 13th.
