Cynthia Nixon

Cynthia Nixon has made a substantial name for herself in the creative world as an actress, theater director and activist. She has an admirable list of credits, but her most prolific role was playing Miranda Hobbes in the hit show Sex and The City. Her other credits include Amadeus, A Quiet Passion, and James White. Nixon may be more prevalent on our TV screens, but she’s also appeared on Broadway and won a Tony Award for her performance in Rabbit Hole in 2006. Although she was unsuccessful, Nixon impressed the world by running for Governor of New York in 2018 to challenge income inequality, poor renewable energy access and a lack of universal healthcare.
