Jerry Seinfeld's Tricked Out Porsche 911 GT3 RS Is Up for Auction

Funnyman Jerry Seinfeld is parting with his 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Known for his love of the Stuttgart automobile manufacturer (he reportedly owns 80), Seinfeld helped design the classic sports car through its “Special Wishes” program, adding a heap of extras totalling over $250,000, bringing the car’s initial cost to $449,890.

Some of the upgrades Seinfeld coughed up for include; a paint-to-sample “Liquid Chrome Blue Metallic” paint job modeled after the Porsche 918 Spyder, carbon-ceramic brakes, a sports chrono package, an axle lift system, LED lighting, navigation, and a 23-gallon extended-range fuel tank for those long drives out to the Hamptons to visit George.

Seinfeld has also removed the 911 GT3 RS’s massive rear wing and replaced it with a duck tail-like spoiler, although the original comes with the car and can be reinstated. This superfast automobile comes with a 4.0-liter flat-six engine that produces a tidy 520 hp and can reach zero to 60 mph in just three seconds.

The car has been kept in top-notch condition, both inside and out, and comes with a Suntek paint protection film that helps ward off minor imperfections. Unbelievably, the two-door rocket has only covered 1,500 miles.

Bonhams has the car currently listed for between $290,000 and $330,000, which is a steal considering what Seinfeld paid for it. That said, it’s expected the 911 GT3 will sell for a lot more than its asking price. Hit the link below for more details.
